Facebook

Why is facebook so addictive? It takes up so much of peoples tyme during the day.  When you first think about it, it does not make much sense.  Typically you log on, check your updates, read people status, leave comments on dem and join different groups and pages that you feel like you can relate to.  So off of the first thought it shows that we as people are nosey and just want people to listen.  But then facebook has another purpose on why it is addictive, that most people don't really notice.  That is the power to connect with others.  Yes of course you can connect with your current friends.  But as time goes on and you remisense (i probably spelled that word wrong so just work with me) on your past, you may start to miss some of yo old time friends.  That is the magic of facebook, thanks to facebook i have been able to connect with a lot of my old friends even if we have only spoken once it still feels good to connect with them and see how they are currently doing in life.  It is also a good place to network with people you can take you to the next step (if you happen to do it right).  Then you can always have current updates on some of the famous people or successful people you idolized in this world. So i want to say thank you facebook you are actually a pretty good look for everybody.
